About the role
We're growing our Tirana finance hub and looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to lead technology operations for our local team. You'll take ownership of IT infrastructure, security, and systems support as we scale our operations in Albania, working closely with global IT leadership to ensure our regional setup meets company-wide standards.
Key responsibilities
- Own IT infrastructure for the Tirana office, including networks, servers, and endpoint management
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable systems as the hub grows
- Lead on cybersecurity practices, data protection compliance, and risk mitigation
- Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and procurement for the local office
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding IT processes, including account provisioning and access controls
- Serve as the senior point of contact for escalated technical issues
- Partner with global IT teams to align regional systems with broader company infrastructure and policy
- Build and maintain documentation, disaster recovery plans, and IT policies for the local office
- Mentor or oversee junior IT support staff as the team grows
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or a related role
- Strong expertise in networks, server management, cloud environments, and cybersecurity
- Proven experience managing IT operations independently, ideally in a regional or satellite office setup
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, VPNs, and endpoint security tools
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
- Based in or able to work from Tirana, Albania
