Servis Ylli Zelo, operating in the service and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles, is looking to expand its team by hiring a Mechanic or Assistant Mechanic.
- Mechanic Duties: Diagnose and identify mechanical and technical faults in heavy-duty vehicles.
- Perform repairs and maintenance, especially on Scania vehicles.
- Carry out periodic servicing and technical inspections.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble mechanical parts.
- Check the engine, braking system, transmission, steering, and other mechanical components.
- Use service tools and equipment properly and safely.
- Identify parts that require repair or replacement.
- Work with the team to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety during work.
- Take care of equipment and the work environment.
- Assistant Mechanic Duties: Assist the mechanic during diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare the necessary tools and equipment for work.
- Help with disassembling and assembling various parts.
- Clean, organize, and maintain service tools and equipment.
- Assist with periodic servicing and basic vehicle inspections.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Transport and organize parts and materials within the service.
- Follow instructions from the mechanic and service supervisor.
- Adhere to safety rules and use protective equipment correctly.
- Gradually learn and develop practical skills in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics.
- For Mechanic: Vocational high school diploma in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanics and fault diagnosis.
- Experience or knowledge of Scania vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to use service tools and equipment.
- Responsible, accurate, and dedicated to work.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- For Assistant Mechanic: Vocational high school diploma in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in service or mechanics is a plus but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Interest and willingness to learn and develop practical skills.
- Responsible and accurate in work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work with heavy-duty vehicles.
